Our July Fear to Freedom event was another wonderful success, with an incredible turnout and several new women joining us for the very first time. It is always such an honour to introduce women to Be Embraced and share the vision of the supportive community we are building together. Hearing their excitement and admiration for what we have created so far reminds us why we do what we do and inspires us to continue growing.
Our first guest speaker, Linda Chu, owner of Out of Chaos, brought an abundance of energy, enthusiasm, and expertise to the room. As a professional organizer, Linda helps individuals and families create calm, functional spaces by decluttering their homes and developing practical systems that are easy to maintain. Her passion for helping others was evident from the moment she began speaking.
Linda reminded us that clutter doesn't appear overnight—it accumulates little by little over the years until it begins to feel overwhelming. She shared simple, practical tools that made the process of decluttering feel manageable, breaking it down into small, achievable steps that reduce anxiety and create momentum. As she spoke, it became clear that the same principles apply not only to our homes but also to our minds and our lives. By letting go of what no longer serves us, we create space for greater peace, clarity, and purpose. It was truly a delight to have Linda share her wisdom with our community.

Our second speaker, Alicia Koo, founder of The Daily Atelier, brand strategist, challenged us in a completely different but equally empowering way. Alicia guided us through a simple three-step framework for expressing our thoughts with confidence, honesty, and respect OUR OPINION, she called Soft Rebellion. Through practical exercises, we experienced firsthand how changing the way we communicate can transform fear into freedom. She reminded us that having a voice is something to be celebrated, not apologized for, and that we can stand firm in our opinions while remaining kind and respectful.
The conversations didn't end when the event officially concluded. In fact, many of us stayed well past the scheduled finish time, continuing to ask questions, share stories, and connect with one another.
Those meaningful conversations are often where the deepest relationships begin.
A heartfelt thank you goes to Paige and IG Wealth Management for generously providing such a warm and welcoming space for us each month. Their ongoing support is truly priceless and allows our community to continue growing in an environment where every woman feels comfortable, valued, and embraced.
