Anchored in Purpose

I’ve had the privilege of knowing Sakshi for several years now. We first met in 2021 while working together at Chutney’s, an Indian restaurant in Kelowna. From the very beginning, we bonded quickly—it was clear we shared similar values and a deep perspective on life.
Since then, our connection has continued to grow, and this past February, I was given the beautiful opportunity to attend her wedding in India. Being there, surrounded by her world, her roots, and her love, allowed me to see her journey in a much deeper way. It was during this time that we had a meaningful conversation about gratitude—one that truly stayed with me.
Sakshi’s journey is one of quiet strength, courage, and deep reflection. Leaving her home in Punjab six years ago, she stepped into the unknown with nothing but hope and determination. The path hasn’t been easy—new culture, new environment, new challenges—but through it all, she has remained grounded in something deeper than circumstance: purpose.
Today, Sakshi is grateful—not just for how far she has come, but for who she is becoming along the way. She recognizes that life is more than what we see; every step she takes is not only building a future in the physical world but also nurturing something within her soul. She is learning that purpose isn’t a destination—it’s something you live, moment by moment, through intention, kindness, and presence.
She finds gratitude in the simple things—the quiet moments, the small acts of goodness, the unseen energies that shape her inner peace. She recognizes that even the smallest gestures, often unnoticed, carry profound meaning.
Sakshi is especially grateful for partnership—for walking this journey alongside someone who shares her values, where doing good together becomes a way of life, not just an idea. In that shared intention, she finds strength, connection, and a deeper sense of fulfillment.
Right now, Sakshi is grateful for alignment—the growing harmony between her actions, her purpose, and her soul. She knows she is still on the path, still learning, still evolving… but with every step, she is getting closer.
And in that knowing, she has found peace.
